Denis vists CN

On Wednesday 6 February, Year 7 had the pleasure of meeting Cardinal Newman’s resident veteran, Dennis Davison.
Dennis had many stories to tell and engaged Year 7 with his experiences in Normandy.  He taught Year 7 about the hardships of his time.
Dennis also recently celebrated his 96th birthday and was more than happy to receive his gift of a lovely dove, made by the students and staff of the Design & Technology Department.

Dennis is the chairman of his own charity, Normandy Day UK and explained that we can only achieve world peace, by peace in ourselves.
Dennis has left a lasting mark on Year 7 and the Cardinal Newman community.
