KS3-4 Home Learning Timetables

Home learning tasks will be regularly set by your subject teachers on ClassCharts. It is your responsibility to check your posted home learning throughout the week and complete the home learning on time. Record all of your home learning tasks clearly and carefully in your student planner and make sure you know the deadlines for the tasks.

Don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it, but you must be proactive and ensure that you seek help before the home learning is due.

The majority of the home learning set will be completed and submitted electronically. If you have any technical issues or concerns please contact your Head of Year.

Home learning is a valuable part of school life and helps support students to develop skills in preparation for assessments. Your home learning completion is monitored and the following process will be used:

  • If you complete your home learning on time, you will be rewarded an ASPIRE point.
  • If you produce/complete an excellent piece of home learning, you will be rewarded and acknowledged by the department with Home learning champion postcards
  • If you do not complete home learning by the deadline you will have a 50-minute detention, which will take place after-school on a Thursday.
