Introduction

Our aim at Cardinal Newman is for all students to achieve their personal best and to aspire to succeed.  In Careers Education and Guidance (CEG) this means that each student will be guided to make the right choices in their studies and extra-curricular activities to make the right decisions for their own progression.  We will support students in making well-informed positive decisions by providing differentiated, impartial, independent information about the range of options that are most likely to help them fulfil their potential and achieve their ambitions

We believe that effective careers education and guidance not only contributes to the well-being of individuals but also to the wellbeing of their families, the communities to which they belong, wider society, businesses and the economy.
