TRANSITION DAY- MONDAY 10TH JULY 2023
On Monday 10th July, we were delighted to welcome our Year 7 September cohort onto our school site.
The students started their day by meeting in the Pope Francis Hall where they met Ms O'Connor, Headteacher, Mrs Perkins, Assistant Headteacher (Transition), the wider Leadership Team, and their Head of Year, Mr Poole.
Pupils then went off to meet their tutors and their tutor groups! The students completed a range of icebreaker activities and were given lots of opportunities to get to know one another and to make new friends.
During social times, students ate in our brand new school canteen before going off to play football, basketball, table tennis and table football.
In the afternoon, pupils met a range of subject staff and took part in a variety of lessons such as: English, Maths, History, Science, Art and D&T.
All pupils were extremely well behaved and respectful throughout the day. We were sad to see them go!
We cannot wait to welcome them into our school community in September 2023.
