KS3-4 Homework Timetables
Homework tasks will be regularly set by your subject teachers on Class Charts. It is your responsibility to check your posted homework throughout the week and complete the homework on time. Record all of your homework tasks clearly and carefully in your student planner and make sure you know the deadlines for the tasks.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it, but you must be proactive and ensure that you seek help before the homework is due.
The majority of the homework set will be completed and submitted electronically. If you have any technical issues or concerns please contact your Head of Year.
Homework is a valuable part of school life and helps support students to develop skills in preparation for assessments. Your homework completion is monitored and the following process will be used:
- If you complete your homework on time, you will be rewarded an ASPIRE point.
- If you produce/complete an excellent piece of homework, you will be rewarded and acknowledged by the department.
- If you do not complete homework by the deadline you will have a 50-minute detention, which will take place after-school on a Thursday.
